 Dr. Mark Hildahl has practiced in Minot since 1978. He was born in Minot and attended Minot High School. Dr. Hildahl attended North Dakota State University and then went on the graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1977. He spent part of 1977 on the faculty of the dental school prior to beginning his practice with Dr. Keup here in Minot. Dr. Hildahl has attended well over 2500 hours of continuing dental education courses while in practice, and continues to do so.
Among the advanced training Dr. Hildahl has attended are:
- L.D. Pankey Institute Continuums
- Las Vegas Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry
- Straight Wire Orthodontic Seminars and Advanced Treatment Sessions
- Buchanan Training Center for Endodontic (root canal) Treatment
He achieved the status of "Fellowship of General Dentistry" from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Hildahl and Dr. Keup are among only 10 dentists in North Dakota to have reached this award. Dr. Hildahl is also active in community activities. He has served as president of the Minot Kiwanis, Exalted Ruler of the Minot Elks Lodge, past president of the Minot Dental Society, president and treasurer of the Minot Curling Club, board member of the Minot Public Schools Foundation, board member of Minot Junior Golf Association, volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement, president of Minot Y's Men's club, and several more organizations.
Mark is married to Linda, and has two children, Jennifer and Michael. The entire family is active in local sports and supports several youth activities in the area.
